What We Do

Family Promise Program

1. Screening:

Our Case Manager will meet with families, explain the program, and see if the families qualifies.

Families must have a child 18 or younger. Families must be drug and alcohol free.

2. Family Day House:

Families in our program have access to the Family Day House as a place to shower, care for their pre-school children, and seek employment, and receive additional support. Many guests are employed during the day and go to work. During the school year, children go to school. The day center provides guests with a mailing address and a home base from which to conduct their housing search and receive support through various educational opportunities. The Executive Director and Case Manager's offices are housed in the Family Day House as well.

3. Case Management:

Our Case Manager will meet one on one with the families to identify what services are needed, help set goals, and overcome barriers to obtaining housing.

4. Overnight Shelter:

Families in our program are provided lodging and meals through our church partners. A church w ill host families for one week and then families move on to the next church. Our program provides the transportation for families from the Family Day House at 5:30pm to the church, and then back in the morning.
